Daily Management is a system of daily, structured routines — board meetings, target follow-up, escalation and gemba walks — that make deviations visible and handled within 24 hours. It is the nervous system of operations: this is where problems are discovered while they are small.
The core is the cadence: same time, same place, same agenda, every day. The meeting is short (10-15 minutes), standing, in front of the board, and is about deviations and actions — not status and briefing. What can’t be solved at the level is escalated through a fixed channel (tier structure).
Daily Management is the most direct way to change management behaviour: the routine forces leaders out to operations daily and trains the reaction “what is the cause, and who owns the action?” rather than “who is to blame?”.
